Advisory Services Designed for Where You Are
Each engagement is matched to a particular moment in an organisation's relationship with sustainable technology strategy — from first inquiry through to disclosure readiness.
Back to HomeHow We Conduct an Engagement
All three of our engagements follow a consistent underlying method, scaled to the scope and duration of the service. We begin by listening — understanding the present customs and practices of the organisation before reaching for a framework or a checklist. We then examine the available data and note candidly what is present and what is missing.
Analysis follows: where data supports quantification, we quantify. Where it does not, we say so and explain the implication for disclosure. The engagement concludes with a written deliverable — a posture note, programme paper, or workshop handbook — that the organisation may keep, share with assurance providers, and return to in subsequent reporting cycles.
We do not use a proprietary scoring tool or a vendor-supplied emissions calculator. Our analysis is conducted using open methodologies whose assumptions are documented in the deliverable itself.
Listening Sessions
We meet with technology leadership and the sustainability or finance function to understand current practices, available data, and the disclosure questions the organisation is facing.
Data Review
We examine the data the organisation can provide — energy invoices, cloud billing, device inventories, vendor contracts — and note where the picture is complete and where it is not.
Analysis and Drafting
We analyse the footprint within the agreed scope, applying documented methodologies, and draft the written deliverable for the organisation's review.
Final Issue
The deliverable is reviewed with the client team, amended where needed, and issued in final form. The organisation retains a document it can use for years.
Sustainability Posture Conversation
A short advisory engagement for organisations considering the sustainability dimension of their technology estate — the energy consumption of data centres and cloud workloads, the lifecycle of devices, the carbon profile of vendors, and the disclosure expectations now reaching the Malaysian market through Bursa Malaysia's sustainability reporting requirements. We listen to the present customs, examine the available data, and write a measured posture note. Suited for technology leadership and sustainability officers working together.
- Energy consumption and cloud workload review
- Device lifecycle and vendor carbon profile assessment
- Bursa Malaysia disclosure readiness snapshot
- Written posture note delivered at conclusion
Green IT Programme Advisory
A longer engagement for organisations entering a deliberate green-IT programme. We examine the present technology footprint, identify the practices that quietly carry the largest environmental cost, and write a sequenced programme paper covering data-centre and cloud workload optimisation, device lifecycle management, vendor selection criteria, and disclosure readiness. We work at the pace the organisation can absorb; we do not propose changes that exceed its operational capacity. Suited for organisations preparing for the disclosure cycles of the coming two to three years.
- Full technology footprint analysis across infrastructure, cloud, and devices
- Sequenced programme paper with prioritised actions
- Data-centre and cloud workload optimisation guidance
- Vendor selection criteria aligned to sustainability objectives
- Disclosure readiness assessment for Bursa Malaysia requirements
Sustainability Disclosure Workshop
A two-day workshop for the team responsible for the technology sections of the organisation's sustainability disclosures — the data gathering, the methodological choices, the narrative writing, and the relationships with assurance providers. Together we examine the present practice, identify where data is thin, and write a small set of working agreements for the next reporting cycle. The workshop closes with a written disclosure handbook the team may keep alongside the reporting calendar. Suited for sustainability, finance and IT operations together.
- Two-day structured workshop with preparatory session
- Data gathering and methodological choice review
- Narrative writing and assurance relationship guidance
- Written working agreements for the next reporting cycle
- Disclosure handbook delivered at conclusion

Shared Across All Engagements
Confidentiality
Client data, disclosures, and internal documents shared with us are treated as confidential throughout the engagement and in perpetuity.
Documented Methodology
Emission factors, boundary decisions, and analytical assumptions are written into every deliverable so that assurance providers can follow the reasoning.
Scope Agreed Before Work
We agree scope, deliverables, and fee in writing before any engagement commences. We do not expand scope without the client's knowledge.
